About Us
Renew Your Strength was born out of the life and ministry of Craig Ryan, the owner of Renew Your Strength. It was through Craig's personal striving in the area of health and fitness, combined with his passion to see others prosper in the areas he was achieving success in, that motivated Craig to devote himself to helping others through Renew Your Strength.
Craig's clients know that he cares about them — not just their workout routine. He enjoys the challenge of creating an exercise routine that is specific to the needs of each individual, and he uses his creativity, knowledge, and experiece to keep things from becoming boring and stagnant.
Craig believes that fitness and nutrition are key parts to the overall health of a person. He desires to help people meet their health goals of increased strength, flexibility and weight maintenance. He has personally experienced the benefits of meeting his own health goals and becoming more effective in other aspects of life as a result, and greatly desires to share in the fulfillment of his clients as they obtain better health.
Craig works on a variety of health related projects. Right now he runs a corporate wellness program for a small company in Greensboro, NC, where he trains and educates many of the company's employees each week. He runs fitness bootcamps, meets with personal training clients in their home, and is also active in the fitness area for homeschooling families in the Piedmont Triad area of NC.
Certifications and Experience
Craig is certified in both Personal Training and Advanced Sports Nutrition through the National Federation of Professional Trainers.* Before living in North Carolina, Craig was a chaplain and personal trainer at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He has trained people in gym environments and in their homes, working with a variety of ages and fitness levels.
